Coastal furniture and homewares store with a huge passion for plants is right at the core of this Nelson Bay space; Bay Living & Garden.
The three owners; Tass, Simon and Maria officially opened the space at the start of November last year and have been supplying locals with all of their homeware needs ever since.
With a vast collection of indoor and outdoor plants, pots and accessories available, the team will be able to offer advice on where to start to create your own Oasis at home or at work.
Bay Living & Garden came to life following Tass, a qualified Horticulturalist, looking to move into something new. To somewhere his passion, knowledge, and love of plants could continue and be shared.
“Tass became a qualified Horticulturalist in the early 90s and has been in love with gardens and plants ever since. Moving into landscaping and garden design soon after, winning three City of Sydney Council awards for his gardens.”
With a short stint in a beautiful local homewares store, Tass had a taste of mixing retail with his passion for plants and this is where the concept for Bay Living and Garden was born.
You can get your hands on the high-quality contemporary ceramic and porcelain pots and planters from Angus & Celeste. Designed for both indoor and outdoor plants to brighten and decorate your living spaces.
“We have several suppliers from around the globe as well as directly designing and sourcing products and supporting Australian designers and suppliers.”
Check out their stunning variety of durable and coastal indoor and outdoor fabrics, ready-made cushions and bench seats, as well as rattan lounges and tables; perfect to liven up your interior or exterior space.
So, if you’re looking to style up an area in your home or are just an avid plant lover then head out to Bay Living & Garden for some inspo, advice and possibly a new piece (or two)!
