These two fat blokes are all about having fun! (If you couldn’t guess from their name). Founded by old friends Jan and Pete (aka the Hunter Valley’s Sir Lunchalot) in 2008, these two blokes have followed their passions for food, wine, and the Hunter Valley.
Their gourmet wine, food, and cheese tours run daily from De Iuliis Wines Estate at Pokolbin which is also the home of their Gourmet Kitchen and Deli. The Two Fat Blokes’ team absolutely love the Hunter Valley and a super passionate about the food, wine, and produce coming from the region.
Their fleet of mini vans can be spotted throughout the Hunter with daily tours to the best wineries and restaurants in Pokolbin, Hermitage, Lovedale, Mount View and Broke. Expect knowledgeable local Tour Guides, not just bus drivers, as co-owner Julie explained, “we love the hunter so we love to showcase what it’s about”.
Two Fat Blokes Tours have been going for ten years after starting out with just one van and one tour to offer. They now have nine vehicles, 30 staff and offer five or six different tours to pick from and; “we’re about to launch a new Beer Belly Tour taking you to three different Hunter Valley breweries,” Julie added.
Two Fat Blokes are all about having fun and not taking themselves too seriously, “We want everyone to have fun, but also [be] educational. We want people to learn something” and have a great day out in the Hunter Valley.
