These guys were producing Fruit and Veggie boxes long before the acronym COVID19 entered our vocabularies. And now, you can order online! What better way to support local and feed your family than to pick up some farm fresh produce?
There’s a range of Fruit and Veggie boxes to choose from too, starting at $30, plus an assortment of cheese, breakfast and BBQ platters, available to order, all stocked with produce from local farmers and growers.
If you haven’t visited their shop on Wollombi Road before you’ll be pleased to find a whole range of pantry goodies in store as well as pre-packed dinner meals which again, they’ve been doing for some time.
Note, all orders must be placed by 10am daily, for pick up after 3pm the following day.

Organic Feast
Local and family owned Wholefood Market & Café, Organic Feast have been providing Hunter Valley folk with the best in organic fare for over 20 years. Their shop in East Maitland stocks an impressive range of certified organic produce and pantry items as well cleaning products and other bits and pieces for the home.
Something else to love about these guys is that they produce their own range of juices which are freshly made in store every day. Now does seem like the perfect time to try their Cold Pressed Organic Immunity Boost Juice which is packed with natural antiseptic and an-inflammatory properties (of course).
Like the Wollombi Providore, Organic Feast have been producing Fruit and Veggie boxes for some time too, but these guys also offer a home delivery service (on Tue, Wed and Fri) to select Hunter Valley, Port Stephens and Central Coast areas. Binnorie Dairy
More than just an amazing local cheese producer, Binnorie Dairy stocks a range of delicious produce that can now be delivered straight to your door. In addition to their amazing cheeses (my personal favs are their Labna and marinated goats cheese feta) these guys stock other dairy fare like yoghurt and milk, as well as marinated olives, salami, meat and some frozen meals.
Deliveries can be made to locations within 30km of their Lovedale store and are free for orders over $80. To place your order call or email as per below.
If you feel like getting out the house, the Binnorie shop is still open for takeaways including coffee.

The Cellar Restaurant
Their iconic Pokolbin restaurant may have closed but The Cellar team are doing their bit to assist families in need, producing a range of pre-prepped meals like crumbed schnitzels, bolognese mix along with meats and whole host of produce and pantry staples. Hunter Valley Smelly Cheese Shop
Progressing with the times, the Hunter Valley Smelly Cheese Shop are now offering a ‘Not Just Cheese’ contact free drive through service for quick pick-ups of store and café items as well as delivery to local areas. If you’ve ever been to the shop at Roche Estate, you’ll know the Smelly Cheese team offer a huge range of gourmet produce and pantry staples in addition to their cheese selection which they’re currently providing a 20% discount on. Hunter Valley Olive Centre
Sadly, the Hunter Valley Olive Centre has closed its doors (for the time being) but there’s nothing stopping you from ordering their gourmet foods and estate grown wine online. These guys not only make their own products but also stock a lot of goodies from other local producers including table olives, oils, jams, preserves, vinegars, dukkah and a whole lot more.
Right now, they are offering a 15% discount on their produce as well as a 20% discount on their wines. If your order is over $75 you can also have it delivered for free.

Hungerford Meat Co
A specialty butcher and smokehouse, Hungerford Meat Co have been supplying Branxton and Hunter Valley locals with quality cuts, charcuterie and smoked meats since 2016. Even better news is that these guys have a range of meat packs starting from $60 that can be delivered to Branxton, Pokolbin, Cessnock, Maitland and surrounding areas.
Given the high demand, they are kindly asking that you order online or email order enquiries through rather than call the shop.

Lovedale Smokehouse Gourmet Pantry
Not only are the Lovedale Smokehouse team producing Take Home ‘Heat & Eat’ Meals, but they’ve been putting together some very tasty looking takeaway Beer & BBQ packs and plentiful grazing platters of Charcuterie and Cheese. They even have Vegetarian and Gluten Free platter options and on occasion have ready-made fruit and veggie packs for around $12. Call ahead to order.

Slow Food Hunter Valley
Maitland’s fortnightly Slow Food Earth Markets may have been temporarily cancelled but the Slow Food team are continuing to support local farmers and producers wherever possible. They are putting together a weekly list advising where you can buy fresh local produce at farm gates and other Hunter Valley locations.
