A classic Hunter Valley hotel
If you’re a local or have spent a little bit of time in the Hunter Valley, you’ve no doubt visited Harrigan’s. This classic Hotel is a bit of an institution around these parts, known for its great food, live music and good times.
Like the best pubs, the Hotel has a sports bar and a contemporary indoor/outdoor bar and bistro. Following a large-scale makeover in 2019, the well-known watering hole also boasts a VIP lounge and an alfresco Burger Bar.
Inside, the bistro has an open fireplace which is the perfect place to enjoy one of their famous Beef and Guinness Pot Pies in the cooler months. The large outdoor dining terrace is an ideal spot for those lazy afternoon sessions in summer, particularly when there’s live music playing.
The Burger Bar is another great casual dining option, offering a range of burgers, pizzas and wok-fried delights as well as local wines and craft beers on tap.
Sports fans will love Harrigan’s Sports Bar which features big screen TVs, so you can catch all the action, plus TAB facilities, Keno and pool tables. Adjoining the Sports Bar is the new VIP lounge which offers the latest in technology and entertainment and is a quieter spot to enjoy a cold one, cider or glass of wine.
Of course, if you plan on kicking on, it’s good to know that Harrigan’s has quality onsite accommodation. It’s not your typical Hotel accommodation though.
Harrigan’s offers well-appointed Studio Rooms and Executive, Premier and Deluxe Suites. They also have two and three-bedroom Apartments which are a good option if you’re travelling with family or friends.
