Hunted

Stocking big fashion brands: Afends, Brixton, Stussy, Thrills, Status Anxiety, Wrangler, I Am Gia, Soulanzee, Liberated Heart and Nevada Clothing; Hunted is a fashion heavyweight!

They have a big range (even bigger with their new store) with lots of women’s and men’s fashion, festival fashion and accessories at affordable price points. Owner Karina has put together a fantastic selection of pieces, with a mixture of classic basics, right through to show-stopping festival outfits.

“Customers can expect a lovely local welcome with a new shop fit out that features an edgy artwork that was designed for the 2017 Gumball by local artist India Clarke,” Karina explained.

Since opening in December 2015 Hunted has become a go-to fashion destination in The Levee, recently they moved to larger premises just a couple of doors down High Street. Their original store at 380 High Street is now a dedicated outlet store, perfect for picking up a bargain from last season.

Taylor’s of Maitland

Situated in one of Maitland’s most iconic buildings Taylor’s of Maitland is the go-to place for beautiful things. As owner Carolyn explained, “Customers can expect a Fine Living department store experience with a wide range of Hamptons & French Country inspired homewares, furniture, fashion, home fragrance, fine foods and giftware”.

Visiting Taylor’s is just such a lovely, relaxing experience. The staff are wonderfully helpful with finding that perfect piece for your home or assisting with gift selection, they even offer complimentary gift wrapping on all purchases.

“Visit our store and enjoy a relaxing and calm escape from the world, full of all things beautiful,” it’s hard to leave empty handed!



Blues Child

If you’re after a gift for a baby shower, a little one’s birthday or just an excuse to spoil a special little person then drop by Blues Child. They have a huge range of colourful gifts, toys, lunchboxes, clothes and homewares to decorate your child’s room.

They stock a unique collection of quality children’s clothing from babies to tweens. This icon of Maitland has been around for 70 years this month!

Patrick is the third generation in this locally owned family business, I love the personal connection to our customers and I love that my work has meaning and adds to the history of this place”.

It’s clear to see why Ken Lane Menswear has been around for so long, they not only stock a wide selection of quality menswear but pride themselves on providing friendly customer service. “It sounds like a cliche but it’s been the one constant theme in this store and key to our longevity.”

They stock a great range of menswear brands including Florsheim, Studio Italia, Van Heusen, Geoffrey Beene, Levi's, Ben Sherman, John Lennon, David Smith, City Club and many more.

Hyde & Silk

Amanda from Hyde & Silk prides herself on only stocking ethically produced and fair-trade goods. “I know where everything in my shop comes from” whether it’s the large range of women’s clothing and accessories, kid’s clothes, homewares or giftware.

Her mantra is all about living a sustainable lifestyle so you’ll find beeswax wraps, keep cups, reusable produce bags, lots of things to help cut single-use plastic in your life. She showcases local artisans and handicrafts, so it’s “completely different to what else is around”.
