A beautiful homeware store in the heart of Wollombi

The little village of Wollombi in the Hunter Valley has something for everyone. There’s an authentic country pub for those who like a beer or two, a cellar door for the wine lovers, boutique accommodation, restaurant, cafes and even a wool store. To ensure all your drinking, dining and shopping needs were catered for owner Kellie and her husband Scott opened a beautiful little homewares store, Twine.

Located right in the heart of the Wollombi township in an old school, that was built in 1842. From the outside Twine might have that country kind of look, but what you’ll discover inside is anything but. Kellie has built her business based around sourcing a collection of both local and international brands with her preference being for those items that have been created sustainably or following fair trade practices.

Many of the brands you may be familiar with Aden+Anais, Kate and Kate blankets, Armadillo & Co, Have You Met Miss Jones and perhaps a few you’ve yet to discover like Wonki Ware, Voluspa and Peachy by Lark.

With Kellie marrying country boy Scott, the bush was bound to come calling one day and after spending many years in Sydney it was Wollombi that finally caught their attention. Not content to just raise their children Kellie soon sought a creative outlet and Twine was born.

Twine makes for the perfect place to stop in and have a browse, Kellie’s gorgeous homewares and clothing selections make for a beautiful shopping experience. You’re guarantee not to leave empty handed!
