Within the grounds of Sharon and Damian Burke’s Lovedale property in the Hunter Valley, there’s a collection of hidden gems that make for the perfect weekend getaway. Home to Leaves & Fishes and The Boathouses, the Burke’s most recent venture, The Store, fits perfectly into the escape from the outside world.

Opening in 2018, The Store is a collection of all the lovely décor and products that Sharon has found on her local and international travels. 

How did the idea for The Store come about? Sharon's daughter Madeleine explains, "mum has a knack for finding beautiful furniture, fittings and décor – she designed the interiors of the restaurant and The Boathouses and always wanted a homewares store."

A veritable treasure trove of goodies for the body and home, The Store just adds to the appeal of the overall property and as Madeleine notes, gives visitors the chance to take a little piece of Leaves & Fishes home with them. 

Inside you’ll find collections by Bondi Wash, Katherine Mahoney Ceramics, Eadie Lifestyle and Linen Loungewear, among other cool bits and pieces.

You don’t need to be eating at the restaurant to visit The Store either. They have their own coffee machine and offer delicious pastries by Sonoma, making it the perfect place to stop by for morning or afternoon tea.
