The Spa Manager Emily Higgins explains that over the last 6 months they’ve been working hard to rework the treatment menu as well as the overall spa experience,
“We don’t want our guests to just come in for a treatment and leave again, we want them to experience all aspects of The Spa and extend their stay with us for as long as possible.”
Emily takes us through a day spa visit which starts with getting comfy in your spa robe and slippers before heading into the beautiful Hydrolounge area. Guests have the option to relax on one of the day beds fireside, or if it’s a beautiful day take it outside onto the deck area, which overlooks The Vintage golf course.
“The Hydrolounge has hot and cold mineral spas which are the perfect way to relax prior to your treatment."
"We also offer a butler service so you can order a glass of champagne and cheese plate either in the hour before or after your treatment.”
Whether you’re visiting on your own, with your partner or a group of friends The Spa at Chateau Elan caters to everyone and has every kind of relaxation need covered.
The treatment menu is extensive offering Relaxation and Therapeutic Massages, to the more indulgent Marine Mud Cocoon body therapy. For more intensive body treatments it’s hard to overlook the Milk and Honey Ritual or Sugar Glow Exfoliation, using pure can sugar and tropical nut oils you’ll walk out glowing.
If you’re wanting a treatment that’s a little more advanced The Spa offers Microdermabrasion, an Anti-ageing Rejuvenating Facial, and Phototherapy Sessions with the professionally trained staff providing treatments that work to firm and regenerate your skin cells.
For couples, or if you’re bringing along your bestie, a must-do is the Balneotherapy. Slip into the whirlpool of the geisha tub (there are both twin and double tub options available) and let the Thalgo essential oils work their magic softening your skin in preparation for your chosen massage.
