Reopening Play at the Maitland Repertory Theatre DEC 9 - 19
For the first time in 8 months, Maitland Repertory Theatre will reopen to the public for the production of Henrick Ibsen’s darkly funny A Doll’s House.
Directed by Nicholas Thoroughgood, the main character of A Doll’s House, Nora Helmer smiles all the time, she laughs, she hums and dances. She’s a song bird, a squirrel, a spendthrift. Life is just beautiful in the eyes of Nora Helmer. And she adores her husband. She’d do anything to protect him, she’d lie for him and die for him. But could she ever let him do it for her?
A Doll’s House opens at Maitland Repertory Theatre on Wednesday December 9 and runs until Saturday December 19 for eight performances including three matinees.
The theatre will take COVID Safe precautions and as a result seating will be limited.
As a bonus, 2020 Season Ticket subscribers can use their season ticket to see this play and due to this year’s disruption the theatre will extend the expiry date of its current 2020 Season Tickets to the end of 2021.
Where: Maitland Repertory Theatre, 244 High Street, Maitland
