A food & wine adventure in beautiful Lovedale
No doubt you’ve heard of the Lovedale Long Lunch (LLL). Held in May, the Lunch is a highlight on the annual Hunter Valley events calendar and there’s a good reason for that. It’s the OG of Long Lunches in Wine Country. The one that sees some of the loveliest vineyards in the area team up with local Hunter Valley chefs to provide an amazing weekend of food, wine and entertainment.

How does it all work?
If you’re thinking of partaking in the LLL but unsure of what’s involved, read on. Once you’ve sorted accommodation (if required) you’ll want to check out the Lunch Menus to help you decide which of the seven wineries to visit. Music lovers can also check out the live entertainment that’s been booked here.
The next thing to consider is how you’ll get to and from the Lunch and between participating wineries on the day. Rover Coaches and other tour operators offer transport packages, including accommodation transfers if you need it. The Rover Shuttle Bus which travels a one-way circuit every 10-15 mins from each venue is a good option. Tickets for this cost $25pp and no pre-booking is required. Head to the event website for more information.
