Wine and Dine with Mike as De Iuliis Wines celebrate 20 Years
There’s no better way to celebrate 20 years of winemaking than joining in the fun at the annual Winemaker’s Lunch with Mike De Iuliis at the luxe éRemo restaurant at Spicer’s Guesthouse.
2022 marks 20 years since the first grapes were crushed at the De Iuliis winery in Pokolbin. Since then, De Iuliis has become known for its trophies, awards and accolades bestowed upon them at wine shows but always making sure they have a whole bunch of fun in the process!
So what can you expect at the 20 year celebrations? Mike De Iuliis filled us in,
“I enjoy a good long lunch, and our Winemaker’s Lunches are always fun. We have a great time showcasing our limited release and exclusive wines at this annual event.
"This year is pretty special as we celebrate 20 years by tasting through the history of De Iuliis in your glass,”
Kicking off the ANZAC long weekend in style, join Mike De Iuliis for a decadent degustation matched with the latest premium wine releases. Mike will take guests through a journey of De Iuliis history with brackets of his award-winning wines from the outstanding 2018 and 2019 vintages as well as museum wines from 2009 and 2004.
It will be a Michael and Michael collaboration with Executive Chef Michael Elfwing crafting the perfect hyper-local menu to accompany Mike’s wine releases.
Elfwing has gone through the training for a Professional Sommelier Certificate and says, “Food and wine pairing is a great passion of mine, and it has been a highlight collaborating with Mike to create a menu that matches his incredible wines”

Alongside the signature Winemaker’s Lunch event, Eremo will be pouring back-vintage De Iuliis wines all month & De Iuliis will host a pop-up cellar door on Friday & Saturday evenings.
