The Rigby

This Maitland stunner has something for everyone

The subtle signage and old school exterior doesn’t scream small bar or sophisticated café/restaurant, yet when you open the doors you’re hit with a stunning mix of heritage and industrial design that is both luxe and comfortable at the same time.

Brought to you by the father and son team of Howard and Nick Bourne the duo, since re-opening the venue as The RIGBY in January this year, have brought their years of experience, some interior adjustments, a fresh menu edit and those RIGBY cocktails to the stunning space.

The menu is a tribute to the incredible produce and wines that can be sourced so close to home with Howard and Nick excited to be bringing to Maitland a menu offering that will have you wondering what not to order.

Talking about the menu, for those who prefer to keep it social the tapas is the way to go with a banquet style offering including everything from cured meats, smokey lamb ribs, prawn dumplings and even salted caramel churros.

If you’re not the sharing type take the entree and main option, the braised shoulder lamb, cauliflower, pomegranate, labne and black grape sauce is hard to overlook.

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner The RIGBY is perfect at any time of day whether it be for a casual coffee catch ups, lingering lunches or evening cocktails.
