Opening their doors in April 2016, MR O’s in Cessnock brings locals some of the freshest and tastiest meals they could ever imagine.

Owners, Gerald and Josie Morillo are passionate about serving nutritious, wholesome and tasty meals all the while creating a true sense of community.

Originally from Columbia, Gerald moved to Australia 18 years ago when he just fell in love with the hospitality industry. Bouncing around restaurants and hotels across Sydney, Gerald and his wife Josie packed up shop and moved to the Hunter.

Cooking incredibly delicious dairy, gluten, and vegan-friendly meals at home, soon Mr O was born, and they decided it was time to share their love for healthy, wholesome dishes with the locals.

Integrating local produce into their menu with 90% coming from local producers. How great is that! With their milk from our local favourite, Udder Farm, coffee from Glee and their 100% certified organic bread coming from Organic Bill’s in Cardiff; you get to eat good food and know you’re supporting local!

Serving Breakfast, brunch and lunch Monday to Friday, you’re sure to find something on the menu to suit everyone!
