The Vintage Resort has welcomed the arrival of Mezze at Peppers Hunter Valley, a sophisticated yet casual Mediterranean-inspired dining destination set to make its mark in the heart of wine country. 

Officially opening on Tuesday, August 5, Mezze offers a fresh and flavourful experience that blends elegant dining with a relaxed atmosphere, celebrating bold flavours, share-style plates, and the joy of connection. 

Tucked within the picturesque grounds of The Vintage Estate in Pokolbin, Mezze is a warm and welcoming space where the menu draws inspiration from the heart of Mediterranean dining, with vibrant plates designed to be shared and enjoyed alongside the Hunter’s acclaimed wines and the venue’s cocktail list. 

“We wanted to create a dining experience that embodies the spirit of long brunches and late nights – where food is generous, conversation flows, and every detail feels special.

“Mezze is about more than just a meal; it’s about bringing people together around a table, surrounded by the beauty of wine country,” General Manager of The Vintage Resort, Abdel Bennani said. 

The restaurant’s design reflects the Mediterranean ethos with natural textures, warm tones, and clean lines, creating a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. Guests can settle in for an intimate meal inside or take in the sweeping vineyard views from the deck. 

By day, Mezze offers Australian breakfast favourites like smashed avocado, freshly brewed coffee, and refreshing juices, enhanced with Mediterranean-inspired twists. By night, the menu transforms into a feast of fresh seafood, chargrilled meats, and seasonal produce. 

More than just a restaurant, Mezze will also play host to wine dinners, chef’s table experiences, and seasonal events, showcasing the best of local produce and premium ingredients.
