Ducks in the Field

While the savoury and sweet delicacies at Ducks in the Field are delicious, it’s the quirky and colourful serving ware that makes it a little bit unique. Think bright colours, polka dots, and water jugs with duck head spouts. Located on a quaint property in Duckenfield, guests are treated to a glass of house made punch, a starter, three different stands of sweet and savoury delights, and an option of tea or coffee with the last stand of sweets.

Elay High Tea

Inside this custom built tea house you'll find gold trimmed panelling on the walls, dark wooden furnishings and delicacies served on fine china and gold mirrored tiered platters. The style is an eclectic mix of Victorian and Parisian, which leads to quite a regal high tea experience. Don’t forget to pop your pinky when drinking that tea!

Gigi & Chix Bonbon

Located within Hunter Valley Gardens, this luxury high tea experience is brought to you by Gigi & Chix Bonbon owner Angela, who serves up delicious French desserts and pastries. Choose from different high tea packages, like high tea with coffee, high tea with bubbles, and high tea with wine tasting.

Hunter Belle Cheese Room

For a twist on the usually sweet and savoury high tea, why not try a cheese high tea? At Hunter Belle Cheese Room, it's all about the cheese. This unique experience includes a selection of Hunter Belle cheeses (with a soft, hard, and cheddar option), crackers, fruit paste, warm cheese and chive scones with Hunter Belle Cheese butter, mini cheese tarts, seasonal fruit, a half smoked salmon baguette, brownie, a mini sweet tart, and Hunter Belle fudge.

Heritage Gardens High Tea

Heritage Gardens Cafe is surrounded by the beautiful greenery of Heritage Gardens nursery, making for a peaceful high tea location. The high tea is served in the cafe, or for groups or private functions, there is also the quaint tea house. Enjoy a fruit spritz and pot of T2 tea on arrival as the traditional three-tier high tea commences. Try delicious finger sandwiches, hot savoury treats, freshly baked scones (with jam and cream) and petit fours. Heritage Gardens Cafe is now licensed too so there is the option to add a glass of bubbles to really make it a celebration.

Restaurant Eighty Eight

Located in The Convent, Restaurant Eighty Eight is an ideal spot for a traditional high tea. The Convent building was once home to the Brigidine order of nuns in Coonamble. But after careful reconstruction, it now offers grand comfort with timeless charm. Choose from a Traditional, London, or Paris high tea overlooking the Wisteria Courtyard.

voco™ Kirkton Park Hunter Valley

voco™ Kirkton Park serve their high tea in the sun-filled conservatory and alcoves which overlook the rose garden and Brokenback Ranges. A selection of five different petite cakes such as raspberry lemon fingers, mixed macarons, and baby éclairs is included, as well as some traditional savoury bites like smoked salmon and cucumber sandwiches with dill cream. There's also a high cheese option, with a great selection of cheeses and some hot and chilled savoury items to break up the dairy.
