Located at Oakvale Wines EXP. Restaurant exudes class, with every detail carefully considered, with locally sourced and crafted being the theme. With EXP. now in its second year Frank has decided to add another notch to his belt, sending live his latest concept, Fawk Foods.
The sleek black packaging contains only the best of ingredients and batch made in the Hunter Valley. First up on the list of products is the 'Black G'.
Heat treated for an extended length of time to caramelise the garlic, the process increases the sugar content exponentially, giving the food its browned appearance. The result, as Frank says himself, is Fawking awesome with the garlic taking flavours you wouldn't expect. Think sweet, balsamic vinegar with umami and soy like characteristics and you start to get the picture.
