Brought to you by Frank Fawkner and the team at EXP. Restaurant, one of our fav Hunter Valley restaurants, Fawk Foods Kitchen & Bakery is a combination of all the things that Frank loves and some seriously delicious flavours, just in a more dialled down kind of way.
Situated within Pokolbin Village in the heart of Wine Country, its location and onsite bakehouse makes it easy to drop in whilst on your wine tasting travels and collect all your sourdough, pastry, coffee and garlic essentials.
If you plan on taking a seat, expect a menu offering of all your classics such as the Bacon and Egg Roll, Eggs Benedict on Brioche, Pumpkin Soup and Mushrooms on Toast. Whilst simple in name, there’s nothing simple about the flavours, packing a punch on so many levels Frank’s commitment to using only the freshest and local of flavours is what sets Fawk Foods apart from your regular lunch option.
An absolute menu must is the ‘Pan Cake’ and its Chantilly cream, maple syrup and caramelised apple, all of which had us going a little weak at the knees.
Licensed with a small selection of local wines, sparkling and beers you can easily get comfy either inside or out on the deck and possibly ruin your dinner plans. Oh well!
