There’s a new Chef at Drayton’s in the Hunter Valley
When was the last time you visited Drayton's Family Wines in the Hunter Valley for a bite to eat? If it’s a been a while, it’s high time you head back. You see, there’s a new Chef on the pans and a new menu on the tables which combined, are set to delight.
Who is it you ask? None other than renowned International Chef, Scott Webster, former owner of the Carrington Place Bar, Restaurant & Guest House in Newcastle.
Scott and his team have relocated to the pioneering winery opening BelleVue Food & Wine.
The new Tapas menu at BelleVue is flavoursome and fresh featuring local produce from around the Valley.
Expect to find tasty shared plate fare like the garlic butter king prawns with a tomato basil compote and farfalle pasta with beef cheek ragout among other delicious looking menu items.
You’ll need to order a minimum of two shared plates, but I can guarantee, you won’t mind. In fact, you’ll probably order a few more or in the very least, something sweet or savoury to ‘Finish Off' your meal.
The menu change will be the first of many new experiences you’ll soon be able to have at BelleVue Food & Wine.
Scott has some big plans for the venue, including a new pizza oven and a bar and outdoor dining deck where you can enjoy his Tapas and Drayton’s lovely wines overlooking the old vines on the estate.
