Bimbadgen

When you're in the Hunter Valley drop into the bell tower at Bimbadgen

Cruising down the Hunter Valley's McDonalds Rd, Bimbadgen cellar door stands a little taller than those around it. With spectacular views to the Brokenback and Barrington Ranges the grandiose entrance sets the scene for what is the complete wine and dine experience.

Stepping through the front doors you find yourself amongst the wine making action with production tanks, crushing pits and vignerons going about their daily wine making business.

Continue down the staircase and this is where your visit to Bimbadgen really begins.

The contemporary cellar door space comes complete with polished concrete floors and large glass doors that seamlessly merge the inside with the out. On any given day a crew of super friendly and well-versed staff are on hand to unleash their wine knowledge and help you become better acquainted with Bimbadgen’s award-winning wines.

For groups the Club Bimbadgen private tasting room is an ideal choice not only for a more personal wine tasting experience but, for some of the best views in the Hunter Valley.

If you’re getting a little hungry and prefer to keep it light then take a seat at the Bimbadgen Pizzeria soak up the vineyard views whilst enjoying a woodfired Pizza. Or if the idea of settling in for the afternoon sounds like a better idea head upstairs to Esca Bimbadgen for a long and leisurely lunch.

Esca’s menu is a nice mix of locally sourced and grown produce that comes together to offer you a fresh contemporary Australian menu. There is a choice of three, four or five meals in a set menu, divided by type of food such as “From the Sea” or “From the Paddock”. The size of the meals is slightly bigger than an entrée, so you can choose three of whatever your heart desires without being limited to choosing the traditional one entrée, one main and one dessert. If it is a dessert kind of day, then who is to judge if you just choose three desserts? Do it your way!
