Corunna Station

Unwind in this grand old Hunter Valley homestead

If big, rustic and beautiful are all qualities you look for when choosing an escape destination, then you are going to love The Country House in the Hunter Valley.

Situated on 100 acres of private rural property along Pokolbin’s Hermitage Rd, The Country House is the third property to be revived on the stunning Corunna Station by owners Angela and Gerard Kesby.

The expansive property, which overlooks grazing pastures and takes in views of the Brokenback Range was in need of a whole lot-of-love with Angela and Gerard working tirelessly over the last 8 years to bring The Country House back to life.

What Angela and Gerard set out to accomplish was to reinstate the once grand living and bedroom spaces and merge heritage with a perfect balanced modernity. Through the use of luxurious linens, rich timber furniture and calm stone facades guests are given the chance to relive the property's former life as a shearing station.

The 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and open plan design allows for up to 12 guests to be comfortably hosted at any one time and ample space to unwind, whether that be in the luxurious lounge chairs or a seat on the colonial style verandah to soak up those views, Corunna Station offers escapism at its best.

Accompanying The Country House on Corunna Station is The Cook’s House and The Homestead, which can either be hired individually or as a collective making for the ideal family or friends escape in the Hunter Valley.
