Luxury accommodation in the stunning Wollombi Valley
One of the more remote of accommodation properties that we’ve visited Wollombi’s Blair Athol is also one of the most beautiful and luxurious. A good 15 min drive from the main road down a slightly windy and unsealed road takes you to the entrance of the property and also unleashes the spectacular scenery that surrounds it.
Tastefully styled throughout and coming with all the mod cons it caters to all those who can’t do without life’s little luxuries, encouraging you instead to unplug and relax. In addition to the views Blair Athol offers an abundance of wildlife from wallabies, kangaroo’s and wombats, who usually hop on past late in the afternoon or early morning. There’s also the opportunity to get amongst nature with some bush walking, for the energetic power on up to the ancient bolder hill that offers views over the Narone Creek Valley. Spectacular is all I can say!
If you prefer to take a little easier drive the car on up with your pre ordered picnic hamper and feast on an array of delicious items as cooked by the owners themselves, all whilst watching the sunset over the valley.
Should you be able to peel yourself away from your accommodation the Wollombi township is only a 10min drive away for you to explore and do a spot of wine tasting.
