Iconic luxury Central Coast accommodation property Bells at Killcare has just added a new twist to its elegant but casual-chic dining menu. It’s the Bell’s Weekend Hamper – a cool and very tasty way to get your fix of quality fare from the venue’s popular onsite restaurant, without having to dine-in.
Utilising the fresh, seasonal produce grown and harvested from Bells famous vegetable garden, the Weekend Hampers are super affordable and deliver on the authentic, simple and fresh philosophy The Wild Flower Bar & Dining is so well known for.
A Bells Hamper is the perfect accompaniment for those lazy Sundays at home or that casual picnic in the great outdoors.
Best of all, they can be ordered online and picked up from Bells with a minimum of fuss. Just one of the many brilliant ideas our savvy local businesses have executed during the past few months of isolation!
As you’d expect, the Weekend Hampers are made-to-order and come in a variety of flavours to suit any occasion. Here’s what you can order.
Bells Breakfast Hamper (feeds 4) $50
Housemade sourdough loaf, Hunter Belle butter, our farm fresh eggs, garden heirloom tomato, mushrooms, Pino’s cured bacon, sausages
Grazing Box (feeds 4) $60
Selection of Pino’s cured meats, marinated vegetables, house made pate and Hunter Belle cheese with Bells Bakery baguette
The Bagel Hamper $50
Eight freshly house-baked bagels, Petuna premium grade smoked ocean trout, cream cheese, horseradish and chives, thinly sliced cucumber, spanish onion & capers
Bells Vegan Hamper (feeds 1) $50
Receive grilled flatbread with eggplant moussaka, tomato and pangrattata, on the side is a beetroot, orange & pistachio salad, salad of bitter leaves, avocado, fine herbs, Dijon vinaigrette and a delicious chocolate mousse.
Seafood Hamper (feeds 2) $120
Moreton Bay bugs, blue swimmer crab, dozen NSW rock oysters, Australian tiger prawns, NSW hot smoked trout, Bells own cocktail sauce, green goddess dressing and mignonette.
BBQ Hamper (feeds 2) $120
Bells Bakery baguette with Hunter Belle butter, 1 kilo Riverina dry aged T-bone (comes raw, BBQ ready), Café de Paris butter, pre-baked potato gratin, heirloom tomato salad. Raspberry and dark chocolate brownie with Chantilly cream.
