The Tame Fox has been a venue in the heart of Erina since 2016, and current owner Belinda is making sure that heart is felt by creating a true community space where the Coast's diverse range of customers can gather for a guaranteed good time over quality food.

The Tame Fox has been an evolving place that started as a cafe within the sporting hub of The Industry Grounds, then became a visitor attraction with a live petting zoo, and now with Belinda at the helm since 2019 has become a gathering place.

“We are so blessed. We literally get the entire community... from the business people to the exercise groups, to new parents and seniors’ outings, to the school families; we get all clientele and we love them all. That’s what makes the Tame Fox to be honest, the diversity in the groups that come here.” Belinda said.

The Tame Fox has a spacious indoor area, a large outdoor deck, plus picnic table seating around the children’s playground that makes it a go-to spot for families.

It’s also 100% wheelchair and pram-accessible, pet friendly, and has an ample car park so there is no barrier for anyone in the community to enjoy the space. The rustic theme makes it a relaxed and comfortable spot to simply come as you are.

The menu features the famous Glee Coffee, generous food portions, an all-day breakfast menu, and above all, consistent quality. Popular items include the acai bowl, chilli scrambled eggs, avo smash, and high-stack fried chicken burger.

“People know that when they come to The Tame Fox they are going to get good food. It’s sometimes hard to make changes because people love the menu so much!”

To keep things fresh the chefs at the Fox create two weekly specials, and at night The Tame Fox becomes a function venue which reinforces its role as a gathering place for Central Coast locals.

“It’s just so lovely hosting people's personal events. Particularly since COVID just watching families come back together again and enjoy each other's company is really special.”
