Tapas, live music, and cocktails at Daley's Bar

Glinting brass features, velvet upholstery, and the exotic goddess painting on the terracotta walls of Daley's Bar create a warm, inviting and luxe oasis escape for quality cocktails and tasty tapas.

Daley's Bar is the new nightlife counterpart to the popular Daley's Kitchen, a family business which opened two years ago and has built a name for its healthy natural food, wellbeing focus, and community based ethos. As the building vacancy came up next door, owner Sarma jumped on the chance to give locals somewhere close by to go at night.

“The closest night spots are Ettalong and Avoca, and Terrigal is too far and too busy, so we decided to extend our “made with love” concept from the cafe to cocktails,” says Sarma.

When you drive toward Daley's you’ll spot a pink neon spelling out this “made with love” philosophy and as soon as you set foot in the bar you feel it. The bright, 80s art deco feel is a visual feast matched only by the fun and experimental menu of cocktails and weekly tapas specials. Daley's also proudly pours local brewer Six Strings on tap and supports local live music on Saturdays.

“It’s so fun to see our regular customers out at night, close to home, and just enjoying where we live. We have locals ride their pushies down with neighbours and friends to share some tapas and a drink, but are also starting to see people visiting from other ends of the Coast and even coming up from Sydney”.

You’ll find the share plates are weekend-worthy flavour bombs such as honey soy pork belly, fried camembert cheese and coconut lime prawns, while the classic cocktail list satisfies all the greats including the whisky sour, cosmo, and martini.

Daley's Bar has created a much-needed option in this area of the coast and its unique glow, beat, and hum proves that this spot certainly is “made with love”.
