The inaugural Bar Awards is an industry event presented by HUNTERhunter to recognise and elevate the owners, bartenders, mixologists, and brewers who are moving Newcastle’s drink culture forward.

Across 11 award categories, Bar Awards will celebrate those who have led the way, and those on the path to do so. 

This year's event takes place on Monday 5 August, and is offering guests two ticket types – VIP and General Admission:

VIP ticket includes:

- Arrival time 5:30pm
- Cocktail on arrival
- 4-course meal
- 5 1/2 beverage package (inclusive of beer, wine, and selected spirits)
- Live DJ music with Dan Lywood

General Admission ticket includes: 

- Arrival time 6:00pm
- Cocktail on arrival
- Canapés throughout the night
- 5 hour beverage package (inclusive of beer, wine, and selected spirits)

Cocktail attire is, essentially, a suit and tie. It's elegant and elevated, but not stuffy. It's not as fancy as black tie, but it's fancier than business casual.
