If leaving them behind isn't an option....
With 24 out of the 37 Reflections Holiday Parks in NSW pet-friendly, why would you deny your best friend tagging along?
All their pet-friendly parks are close to beaches, walks and activities where all dogs are welcome. Many even have a warm dog bath on site, perfect for cleaning off the sand after a big day at the beach!
For those of you with fur-babies you'll be stoked to hear that some parks even have dog-friendly cabins, just ask the question when you book.
To help you with your holiday plans we've picked out a few of the most pet-friendly holiday parks in NSW:
Bonny Hills
With incredible water views and access to a dog-friendly beach, I think your furry friend will give Bonny Hills their tick of approval. Take a 3km walk along the sand to Middle Rock, or if you’re feeling super energetic walk another 15km to Lighthouse Beach.
Corindi Beach
This Holiday Park offers direct access to the beach as well as plenty of walks to nearby headlands where the dogs can roam free. Corindi Beach is close to state forests, national reserves, and national parks, perfect to explore with your pets.
Shaws Bay
Between Sharpes Beach, Angels Beach, Ballina Split, Seven Mile Beach, and Patches Beach the places to take your dog from Shaws Bay Park are endless. You can also park yourself with pooch at the much-loved The Belle General Bakehouse. Just a short 5 minute stroll from Shaws Bay it makes for the perfect breakfast or lunch stop.
Moonee Beach
If there is one place you should visit with your dog it's Moonee, they have thought of just about everything dog related. Biodegradable dog waste bags are now available for free at dispensers located in areas around Moonee Beach where both the reserve and beach is pet-friendly.
A must visit while you're in town is Maggie Dog Cafe, which has everything from specially designed seating, doggie play dates, a full doggie menu (including pies, puppicinos) there's even Paw Blonde Doggie Beer for the craft loving pups!
Look At Me Now Headland, Moonee Beach Nature Reserve
Eden
The beautiful Aslings beach sits on the doorstep of Eden’s Reflections Holiday Park, so it’s a bonus that it is dog-friendly. There are also lots of flat walking and bike tracks to take, as well as bushland and national parks surrounding the area.
Boambee
If your dog loves a good dog paddle then Boambee Creek Reserve is the place to be. Only a short drive from Coffs Harbour it makes a nice alternative if you've already stayed in the town with the Big Banana. The shallow waters of Boambee Creek make for perfect swimming, paddle boarding or just floating around in.
Bermagui
Situated opposite Horseshoe Bay Beach along the Sapphire Coast, the town Bermagui is all about beautiful ocean views from various headland points, fishing, snorkeling, and walking through nature and wildlife. Your dog will love the outdoors here!
So stop feeling guilty about abandoning your pet while you pack your bags and relax on holidays- just take them with you!
