If you’re feeling peckish, snack on cheese boards featuring local Hunter Belle Cheese and Pukara Estate condiments. With live music playing at Broughton & Bay Bar on Friday nights, you might even forget you’re in an airport.

Valley and Vine

Vegan travellers will know all too well how tricky it can be to find a decent airport feed.

At Newcastle Airport, Valley and Vine has plenty of vegan options, so you’ll be well fed before your flight.

Think vegan wraps and sandwiches made to order with your choice of filling, vegan cakes, filo pastries, and a vegan green breakfast. 

There's plenty of non-vegan options too, so everyone's covered for a tasty meal.

Hunter & King Coffee Co

The current cost of living has our wallets feeling the pinch, and if you’re holidaying this summer, you don’t want to break the bank at the airport.

For a bargain meal deal, head to Hunter & King Coffee Co. Grab a bacon and egg roll and a small coffee for $12.50, or a banana bread and small coffee for $9.40.

Red Rooster

Have you got the kids in tow? For kids meal options guaranteed to keep the rugrats happy, head to Red Rooster for nuggets, chips, and a drink for $9.25, or a mini chicken sub, chips, and a drink for $10.75.

If you’re after a bit of extra entertainment, with every purchase of a kids meal at all Newcastle Airport food outlets over the Christmas holidays, you’ll receive a free wooden model plane for the kids to play with. You’ll also find a dedicated kids’ corner featuring oversized games and face painting.

News Travels

Need a last minute Christmas gift before you jet off? News Travels has got you covered. You’ll find a library full of the latest books and magazines, souvenirs, kids toys and activities, and goodies from producers like Pukara Estate and Byron Bay Chocolate Co.
