The Open Mind Space

Broadmeadow yoga & wellness hub

The Open Mind Space is a place to connect with a conscious community, share knowledge and together rise.

A place to connect with a conscious community through yoga, meditation, movement and personal healing opened in late April; The Open Mind Space. The wellness hub in Broadmeadow has been brought to us by the talented young couple behind the ever-so-popular full-moon meditation nights at Bar Beach; Renée Wilkinson & Murray Smith.

“Our intention for The Open Mind Space is to approach self-development, wellness and spirituality with an open mind, making its tools and concepts, simple, approachable and accessible to all.” - The Open Mind Space

Renée has been working in complementary therapy and healing for more than ten years. In 2014, Renée utilised yoga to move through PTSD, and is now honoured to share and offer an incredible experience for you.

Murray has been an avid surfer for years and has a strong passion towards men’s mental wellness, wanting to connect individuals to nature and help aid clients build a healthy relationship with their mind, body and spirit.

“No matter your age, gender, income, world view, beliefs, what you wear, who you love, where you live, why you’ve come. The Open Mind Space is here for you…let’s experience, share, connect, learn and grow together.”

Teaching yoga are yogis, Brooke Barrett, Edward Bissaker, and Cat Mead; all of which are devoted and dedicated teachers of their individual practice, and Meditation teacher Mark Penkala brings his meditation and energy-healing skills to the team.
