“The location speaks for itself. Newcastle's stretch of coastline is unrivalled along the East Coast for beauty and for amazing waves.

“Most of us at The Kiosk are keen surfers or beach goers so the opportunity to work near the beach, sneak in surfs or swims at lunch and see amazing sunrises and sunsets every day, is something that is beyond our dreams,” owner Rob told us.

The owners behind this venture are the husband and wife team, Rob and Sigrid whom share the business alongside general manager Luke, and local surfing personality Daniel. This core team is supported by the young, talented and smiley people that serve you your specialty coffee on the daily! 

With coffee from Marvell Street in Byron Bay your cup of joe is always sure to be a smooth drop, which is balanced yet tasty.

“We are currently pouring a beautiful, clean Colombian Filter roast called Luis Edier Reinoso and will have some stunning Kenyans on the bar in the next week or so.

“Our milk-based coffees are still made using the Thunderbird Espresso blend, its rich, sweet and creamy and cuts through milk perfectly.”

With an extensive menu, you can get your hands on a healthy breakfast bowl, typical Aussie breaky rolls, toasties, shakes, burgers, wraps, fish and chips and much much more.

Stocking some of Newcastle’s yummiest pastry goodies from the team over at Covered and Crumbs as well as just recently serving up their own home-made kombucha. The Kiosk quite literally has something for every member of the family, no matter the occasion.

Not only are what they serve up scrumptious, but all of the cafe’s practices also revolve around continuously improving their environmental impact.

“All of our food and coffee waste is composted through A Green Helping Hand. We are constantly trying to source and sell products that do not rely on plastic packaging or bottles.”

Really thinking of everything, and making it easier for customers to stay environmentally friendly,  these guys even have dine in water and coffee cups and the almighty mug wall.
