Peaberrys Coffee Roasters

Peaberrys closes the doors to it Islington location

After 20 years in business, Islington's iconic Peaberrys Coffee Roasters served its final cup of joe on Saturday 6th April.

Whilst Peaberrys may be leaving its much loved Islington location, it's not the end of the story by any means. The brand you know and love will live on with its amazing coffee still being roasted here in Newcastle at their new Darby street address, which is set to open in the coming months.

Launching Peaberrys in its new direction is owner James Conway. Known for his dedication to pushing boundaries and keeping a constant eye on the future, James sees this move as an exciting new chapter for Peaberrys. This move, envisioned by James, perfectly blends Peaberrys' rich history with the exciting energy of Newcastle's coffee destination.

Although the brand is grateful for the amazing memories and loyal customers made in Islington over the past two decades, the new Darby Street location will allow Peaberrys to expand and create an even more exceptional coffee experience for customers.

For two decades, Peaberrys has been synonymous with the rich coffee culture of Newcastle. Their Islington location holds a special place in the hearts of locals, a place where countless mornings began with the comforting aroma of freshly roasted beans. While a tinge of nostalgia is inevitable, the move to Darby Street will feel like a homecoming.

Darby Street itself is a Newcastle institution, a vibrant hub known for its eclectic cafes and innovative food scene. Peaberrys, with its legacy and dedication to quality, will undoubtedly find a perfect fit on this iconic street, ensuring their story continues to be brewed for years to come.
