Whilst we spend a lot of time spruiking the brilliant businesses across Newcastle, we don’t spend enough time exploring all the great things happening just next door in our neighbouring council area, Lake Macquarie!
Growing up in Lake Macquarie myself, I’ve seen the incredible growth across Lake Mac’s suburbs over the years with boutique shops giving Newcastle a run for its money, coffee spots sure to rival any Newcastle café and restaurants that pack a punch.
One coastal suburb that has quietly made a bit of noise recently is none other than Caves Beach. Known for being one of the coolest beaches on offer, the coastal area also boasts plenty of hospitality goodness and retail shopping experiences.
