Nestled in the picturesque Broke, amongst sprawling mountains and boutique vineyards, sits Hunter Lavender Farm. Opening its gates to the public in 2022, this idyllic farm welcomes guests to enjoy a range of experiences from beekeeping, yoga, and painting – all set among scenic rows of lavender.

The farm is back in bloom for the summer of 2023 and 2024, and you're invited to enjoy all the charm this destination has to offer. 

Lavender Field Walk

Want to immerse yourself in fields of these fragrant flowers? The Lavender Field Walk is an ideal way to stroll the grounds at your own leisure. Whether you’re looking for an Instagram-worthy shot (we don’t blame you) or you just want to admire the beautiful countryside scenery, walking through rows of lavender is certainly a calming experience!

Beekeeping for Beginners Workshop & Honey Harvest Experience

Where there’s lavender, there are bees! This December, delve into beekeeping at Hunter Lavender Farm with their in-house beekeeper Ben.

Ideal for beginners, the two workshops offer basics and a hands-on experience harvesting raw honey from the farm's hives. Participants also get to take home their very own jar of pure honey!

Yoga in Lavender Bloom

Take your yoga practice up a notch with a session among the soothing lavender blooms. Slow down and be present with this yoga and meditation class that takes in views of not only the flowers, but vineyards and Lizard Rock escarpment.

Lavender Mini Photo Session

It’s not often we get professional family photos taken, but Hunter Lavender Farm is giving you the chance to do just that this summer. Mist in Island Photography and Wild Love Photography are offering mini photo shoots among the lavender – consider this your reminder to get an updated family portrait with a stunning backdrop.

Fine Art in Little Provence & Dried Lavender and Flower Arrangement Workshop

Tap into your creative side and be inspired by lavender fields in bloom as you craft a masterpiece at this paint and sip class with help from Pinot and Picasso. Kick back with a wine glass in one hand and a paintbrush in the other.

Or, unleash your inner florist with the Dried Lavender and Flower Arrangement Workshop. Play with colours and textures to create your own floral arrangement to take home, all while enjoying a grazing platter and BYO drinks.

Hunter Lavender Farm is open daily from Saturday December 9, 2023 to Sunday January 7, 2024* (except for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day), so get in quick and make your bookings to experience all that purple goodness.
