After a long few months indoors, now’s the time to get outside and reconnect with nature.  And we know just the place where you and your tribe can get that much-needed dose of fresh air and greenery.  It’s the Hunter Valley Gardens of course! The Roche family have very gladly re-opened their garden paradise for one and all to enjoy.  Hooray!

So, what are you waiting for?  Head to the Hunter Valley Gardens this weekend to soak up the tranquility and beautiful Winter sunshine while exploring their 10 internationally themed gardens.

Amongst the rolling hills of grape vines, right in the heart of Pokolbin are the Hunter Valley Gardens. A 60 acre garden oasis featuring 10 themed gardens, interconnected by 8km of paths. These gardens are huge, to put it into perspective there are over 35,000 roses, and the 34 horticultural and maintenance staff are kept busy planting over 250,000 annuals each spring!

You’ll need at least a couple of hours to explore and appreciate the gardens, as each separate garden transports you to all corners of the globe. The variation of plants makes the Gardens come to life throughout each of the seasons as well as offering great points of interest such as topiary sculptures, formal gardens and the Storybook garden. Perfect for the little ones.
